GPS art of a dragon drawn at one of Kagoshima’s most popular Hatsumode spot🐉✨
This GPS art course allows visitors to draw the Chinese zodiac animal “dragon (龍)” around the Seahorse House, a spot in Kagoshima Prefecture with a connection to dragons.
The Seahorse House in Minami-Kyushu is the only seahorse farm in Japan. Seahorses are known as a lucky fish, but they are endangered due to overfishing in the wild. The director learned the know-how of seahorse aquaculture and opened the farm in 2008. So far, 16 species have been cultured and bred, and approximately 50,000 fish are produced each year.
Since 2024 is the year of the dragon, the Seahorse House may become a popular spot. Please try it as a tourist attraction that avoids the density 🐉✨
