A circle with a radius of 3.14 km in one of Japan’s leading tourist cities✨
The course forms an equilateral circle with a radius of 3.14 km along both banks of the Oyodo River, which flows through the center of the city.
Today, Miyazaki has a strong image as a camping ground for professional baseball teams, but it used to be a mecca for honeymooners. During the post-war period of rapid economic growth, the airplane network developed, and Miyazaki, with its tropical atmosphere, became a place of longing. Miyazaki has grown as a honeymoon destination. In the background, there were baby boomers reaching marriageable age and the increase in romantic marriages becoming a social phenomenon, but the fact that the royal family chose Miyazaki as their honeymoon destination also had a major impact.
Even today, an atmosphere reminiscent of the tropics remains in every corner. A perfect course for sightseeing!
