A circle with a radius of 3.14 km drawn at the birthplace of the Shimazu family✨
Exactly 1,000 years ago, in the late Heian period (794-1185), Taira no Suemoto developed Shimazu-so, the largest manor in Japan, which marked the beginning of the history of the Shimazu clan, one of the leading feudal lords in southern Kyushu.
The course is a circle with a radius of 3.14 km, centering on Miyakonojo Station, the center of the city. You will be able to enjoy both the fertile paddy field area centered on the Oyodo River and the city center.
