GPS art of a snail drawing on a “place named after rain”🐌✨
This is a series of GPS art courses that draw snails in “place names with “ame (雨)”.
Ameyama (雨山) is located on a mountain in the western part of Konan City, Shiga Prefecture, adjacent to Ishibejuku, an inn on the Tokaido Highway. It has a history of praying for rain since ancient times and has been worshipped as a mountain of faith. In addition to the Dragon God to which the rain mountain belongs in Konan City, it is also known as the “Konan Rain-making Three Shrines” together with the eight Great Dragon King Gods and the Tado Shrine.
It is located between Kusatsu City and Koka City on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa. Please try it when you stop by for sightseeing 🐌🐌🐌
