GPS art of a dragon drawn at one of Kyoto’s most popular Hatsumode spot🐉✨
This GPS art course allows you to draw the Chinese character for the Chinese zodiac animal “dragon (龍)” around Shinsen-en Garden, a Hatsumode spot in Kyoto that is associated with dragons.
Shinsen-en in Kyoto has long been rumored to have a Ryuketsu (dragon hole) and is known as a power spot where one can feel the strong energy of the dragon god. The Zenjo Ryuoh shrine is enshrined on an island in the center of Shinsen-en. Zenjo Ryuoh is one of the Dragon Lords, the object of prayers for rain, and is the deity that Kobo-Daishi Kukai summoned from northern India to bring good harvests.
Since 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, Kyoto Shinsen-en may become a popular Hatsumode spot. Please try it as a sightseeing tour to avoid the density 🐉✨
