GPS art of a dragon drawn at one of Shizuoka’s most popular Hatsumode spot🐉✨
This GPS art course allows visitors to draw the Chinese character for the Chinese zodiac animal “dragon (龍)” around Ryuganbuchi, a sightseeing spot in Shizuoka Prefecture with a connection to dragons.
Ryuganbuchi, located on the Juni River in Fuji City, is well known as a cherry blossom viewing spot. The best time to view the cherry blossoms is from late March to early April, when many people visit. It is also the site of a reenactment of the “mizugori” ritual, in which ascetic practitioners of the Mt. Fuji, and also offers a great view from the location.
Since 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, Ryuganbuchi may become a popular tourist spot. Please try it as a sightseeing trip to avoid the density 🐉✨
