Saitama Pose with GPS Art in a Bedtown in Saitama Prefecture, Japan✨
November 14 is Saitama Citizens’ Day! This is a course where you can draw “Saitama Pose” with GPS art, which is what you should do if you are a resident of Saitama Prefecture.
This course is located in Ageo City, a bedroom town said to be the hometown of Dave Spector. It is believed that there have been settlements in the area since the Paleolithic Age, and in the Edo Period, the area developed as a post town along the Nakasendo Highway. In the Meiji period (1868-1912), the Takasaki Line was opened and the city became an industrial city, starting with the development of sericulture and silk spinning. During the postwar reconstruction period, apartment complexes were built and the area grew as a bedroom community.
Visitors can tour Ageo Sports Park, which was built on the occasion of the National Athletic Meet, as well as housing complexes and residential areas. This course is also an ideal sightseeing tour of Ageo!
