A circle with a radius of 3.14 km drawn around Mito Castle✨
Mito Castle was once home to one of the three Tokugawa families and was the center of the Mito domain. One would think that the castle would have been a grand affair since it was the residence of one of the three Tokugawa families, but in fact it was rather modestly built since the feudal lord was in Edo Castle as he was an important official of the Shogunate. Today, it is an educational area, with one of the best kindergartens and elementary and junior high schools in Ibaraki Prefecture.
This is a course for sightseeing, where you can enjoy the paddy fields of the lower reaches of the Naka River and the atmosphere of Mito Castle. It is a course to be enjoyed slowly.
