GPS art of a catfish drawing in the heart of Sanriku Fukko National Park✨
A course of GPS art of catfish, drawing in Kamaishi City, the center of Sanriku Fukko National Park.
The city is also recognized as a steel manufacturing town. The Nippon Steel Kamaishi rugby team is also famous for its strength, having won seven consecutive Japanese championships. 2011, when the earthquake struck, the city suffered tremendous damage due to its location in a bay on a rias coast. The city has since recovered and will host the Rugby World Cup in 2019.
By touring the coastal areas of Kamaishi City, you can develop a good sense of the land. You can also experience the present day Miyako, which has recovered from the disaster. This is a course we hope you will try when you visit!
