GPS art of the sun drawn in the city of intense heat✨
A course of solar GPS art to be drawn in Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture, a city of intense heat.
Located in the southern part of Shikoku, the city is surrounded by mountains. Especially in summer, the hot winds of the foehn phenomenon blowing down from the northwest collide with the Pacific High Pressure System, and in 2013, the temperature reached 41.0 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature ever recorded at that time.
The course is located in the castle town of Nakamura Castle, sandwiched between the Shimanto River and the Later River. The distance is short and the location is ideal for sightseeing. We hope you’ll stop by on your way to Shikoku!
