Fukuoka City Nishi Park is located in the center of Fukuoka City, north of Fukuoka Castle, and was once called Aratsuyama.
The park has been selected as one of the 100 best places to view cherry blossoms in Japan, and about 1,300 cherry trees bloom in spring.
From the park’s viewing platform, you can see Hakata Bay, Nokonoshima Island, and Shiga Island.
