Spring’s First One Step Ahead! GPS art of cherry blossoms✨
This course draws cherry blossoms GPS art at Hamamatsu Castle, one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Shizuoka Prefecture.
The area is in the spotlight due to the 2023 NHK Taiga Drama “Dousuru Ieyasu” (What to do, Ieyasu?). About 330 Someiyoshino and weeping cherry trees are planted around the castle walls built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, and the area is crowded with tourists and cherry blossom viewers in spring. Usually, the best time to see the cherry blossoms is from late March to early April.
It is becoming a trend that the restriction of activities is being lifted. We think it’s the perfect place for sightseeing in Hamamatsu 🌸
