GPS Art of Chinese Zodiac Signs Painted at the Heart of Omi Merchants’ Faith✨
Himure Hachimangu Shrine is the head shrine of the former Yawata Town and one of the most popular spots for New Year’s visits in the prefecture. The time of its establishment is unknown, but it is said to have started around 131 AD. The two major fire festivals held here, the “Saginaga Festival” and the “Hachiman Festival,” are nationally selected intangible folk cultural assets.
This is a GPS art course that takes you around the city center between Omi Hachiman Station and Himure Hachiman Shrine. There are many turns, but the distance is moderate. I am sure you will enjoy the course.
