Saitama Pose” is drawn by GPS art in the central city of Saitama Prefecture✨
November 14 is Saitama Citizens’ Day! This is a course where you can draw “Saitama Pose” with GPS art, which is what you should do if you are a resident of Saitama Prefecture.
The town started as a gate town of Hikawa Shrine and developed as an inn town along the Nakasendo Road in the Edo period (1603-1868). In the Meiji era (1868-1912), the railroad was opened and Omiya Station was established. It grew into one of the prefecture’s leading terminal stations and at the same time became the economic center of the prefecture.
The course is centered on Omiya Station, with the East and West exits each depicting a hand of Saitama Pose. We welcome all residents of Saitama Prefecture, but we also welcome those from outside the prefecture to give it a try!
