GPS art of tigers drawn at a shrine for the Tiger Festival✨
Chogosonshi-ji Temple, the head temple of the Shingon sect of Buddhism in Nara Prefecture, is known as one of the best spots for New Year’s visits in the prefecture. The temple is also the site of the annual Tiger Festival held in late February, which is expected to be especially popular during the Year of the Tiger in 2022.
This GPS art course will draw tigers on the plains along the Yamato River with a view of this mountain temple. It’s a reasonable distance, and you’ll also get to visit Tatsuta Taisha, one of the most famous shrines in the area!
