GPS art of a dragon drawn at one of Hyogo’s most popular Hatsumode spot🐉✨
A GPS art course where visitors can draw the Chinese zodiac animal “dragon” in the vicinity of Tokoji Temple, a Hatsumode temple in Hyogo Prefecture.
Tokoji Temple, located in Nishinomiya City, has the “Yakujin Dragon King Dragon Wall (厄神龍王 龍壁),” which was built in 2019 to commemorate the 1190th anniversary of the temple’s founding. The 30-meter-high mural depicts a dragon with every hair clearly drawn and a world of ethereal depth. Kazumasa Uchio, who is also involved in Final Fantasy, was in charge of creating the original artwork.
Since 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, Tokoji Temple may become a popular spot. Please try it as a sightseeing tour to avoid the density 🐉✨
