A course of snail drawn on a hydrangea temple in Kumagaya🐌✨
The temple has a long history and was founded by Gyoki in 743 during the Nara period (710-794) and later rebuilt by Kobo Daishi Kukai.
The temple grounds are filled with 800 plants of 50 different kinds of hydrangeas, which attract many tourists during the peak season of June✨
In June of 2021, the precincts will not be open to the public to prevent the spread of corona. Please be careful.
