Rabbit GPS art drawn at a Hatsumode spot in Niigata🐰✨
A course of GPS art of rabbits, the animals of the Chinese zodiac, drawing at Yahiko Shrine, the most popular place for New Year’s visits in Niigata Prefecture.
Yahiko Shrine is known as the “Shrine of Rabbits” because legend has it that the great deity who once lived in the shrine admonished the rabbits living in Mt. Yahiko not to destroy the fields that the farmers had so diligently created.
It is the most visited shrine in Niigata Prefecture and one of the leading Hatsumode (New Year’s visit) spots in the prefecture. Because of the shrine’s particularly strong connection with rabbits, Hatsumode in the Year of the Rabbit is expected to be more crowded than usual.
Depending on the plague, it may be difficult to gather… …We hope you will enjoy your zodiac run avoiding the dense crowds 🐰🐇✨
