GPS art of a dragon drawn at Aichi’s most popular Hatsumode spot🐉✨
A GPS art course where you can draw the Chinese character for “dragon (龍)”, the animal of the Chinese zodiac, around Yaotomi Shrine, a Hatsumode spot in Aichi Prefecture that is associated with dragons.
Yaotomi Shrine in Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture, has a shrine called Yaotomi Ryujinsha. The deity of Yaotomi Shrine is Toyotamahiko-no-mikoto, the god of the sea and the god of rain. The shrine is said to bring blessings for good luck and good luck against bad luck.
Although this is a popular spot for worshippers, large crowds are expected in the year of the dragon (2024). Please try to avoid the crowds by paying a visit to the temple on the first day of the year🐉✨
