GPS art of cherry blossoms drawn on a natural monument in Yamanashi Prefecture✨
This is a course of GPS art of cherry blossoms drawn on Itozakura cherry trees at Jiunji Temple, one of the most popular spots in Yamanashi Prefecture.
The weeping cherry tree is over 300 years old and is designated as a natural monument. Especially when in bloom, it is illuminated and can be enjoyed at night. Jiunji Temple was a private school opened at the end of the Edo period and contributed to local education from the Meiji to Showa periods.
Located at the easternmost tip of the Koshu Basin, the site is somewhat sloped. Although the distance is short, there are many ups and downs, making it a perfect course for trails.
