Heijo-kyo, the center of the Nara period, a part of Japanese history. This is a circular course with a radius of 3.14 km, which draws you in a circle around this former capital.
With Daigoku-den (the main hall of the imperial court) at the northern end of the course and Hieda moat encircling village (the root of ancient Japanese settlements) at the southern end, you can experience the civilization of that time. As a new type of sightseeing in Nara, we hope you will give it a try!
