“Creating a ‘C’ with GPS Art in Seishin-cho, a Waterside Community of Edogawa”✨
International cooperation by GPS art of “C” onto Tokyo! From March 8 (Saturday) to May 31 (Saturday), 2025, a new project of “Walk in Her Shoes 2025”, “Let’s Walk and Draw “C” on the Earth! Let’s start GPS art!
Walk in Her Shoes 2025″ is an international cooperation program to raise awareness about global water issues and the current situation of women and girls in developing countries by simply walking at a time and place of your choice. Let’s draw the “C” of CARE with GPS art and send it to the world!
GPS art in Seishin-cho neighborhood of Edogawa Ward, Tokyo. This area used to be a ford outside the “Kasai Coastal Levee,” but it was converted to land through the construction of the Arakawa River drainage channel (present-day Arakawa River) and land reclamation projects during the Showa Era (1926-1989) reconstruction period. With this history as a backdrop, the area around present-day Seishin-cho has been developed as a place for citizens to relax and enjoy the harmony of water and greenery, such as Shin Sakon-gawa Shinsui Park and Shin Nagashima-gawa Shinsui Park, forming a unique landscape.
You can paint the letter “C” while touring the quiet residential area of Seishin-cho and its abundant waterfront space. The majority of the course is covered by parks, allowing participants to enjoy nature while contributing to society.
This year, by walking or running and leaving a trail of the “C” of CARE and posting the saved GPS image on Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram with the two hashtags “#Walking for InternationalCooperation2025” and “#GPSArt,” you can donate 100 yen.
We are also developing a Walk in Her Shoes 2025 version of the “Reply Art” developed by the “Hokuriku GPS Art Club”. Please try this one as well!
