Kofukuin, located in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture, is a historic temple known for its unique “guardian snake” statues. Unlike traditional guardian dogs (komainu), these guardian snakes are enshrined within the temple grounds, attracting the attention of many visitors. The snakes are symbols of good fortune, financial success, and prosperity in business, drawing people seeking blessings.
