In these days when the world situation is getting tense, I drew a GPS art wishing for peace.
The location is Akita Prefectural Central Park near Akita Airport, and the GPS art I drew was “PEACE” based on the athletic field. There are people in war-torn countries who cannot participate in the world sporting championships and the Olympics. I chose the athletic field in the hope that one day peace will return to the world and people will be able to interact with each other through sports.
History has proven that wars and conflicts do not bring good results to mankind. In addition, I must work to restore the global environment, which has been worsened by human activities, such as global warming and environmental pollution. This is a GPS art of “PEACE,” wishing for a long and happy (normal) life for humankind.

Drawing GPS art on mountain trails is difficult because there are limited routes, but the feeling of accomplishment when you finish is all the more impressive. Precisely because it’s a mountain, I try to create interesting GPS art while staying on the trails and footpaths. Since I began making my GPS art, I’ve been rediscovering the greatness of the Nazca people.
