The first spring ahead of the others! GPS art of cherry blossoms✨
This course draws cherry blossoms GPS art in Kaiseiyama Park, one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Fukushima Prefecture.
It is the largest park in Koriyama City. Starting with the oldest Someiyoshino cherry tree in Japan planted during the Meiji era (1868-1912) when the area was pioneered, approximately 1,300 Someiyoshino cherry trees are currently planted on the grounds. Kaiseizan Daijingu Shrine, which was built at about the same time as the oldest Someiyoshino, is also well known to the citizens of Koriyama.
Usually, the best time to view the trees is from early to mid-April, but in 2023, the year of posting, the best time to view the trees is expected to be significantly ahead of schedule.
It is becoming a trend that the restriction of activities will be lifted. I think it will be perfect for sightseeing in Fukushima 🌸
