Catfish GPS art, drawn in a catfish park✨
A course of catfish GPS art to be drawn in “Fukutsu City General Sports Park, Namazu no Sato (Catfish Village)” which is famous for catfish.
This comprehensive park was named after the nearby Omori Shrine which is famous for catfish. The park has a pond where catfish swim, as well as various botanical gardens and a sports field. Omorimiya is also a shrine dedicated to the catfish as a messenger of God, as the catfish saved a warlord during the Onin Civilization War. A pair of statues of catfish sit in the main shrine.
This is a peaceful course through the countryside and residential areas. The moderate undulations and distance make it perfect for a GPS run. Please give it a try!
