GPS Art of Chinese Zodiac Animals on World Heritage Sites✨
This is a GPS art course to draw animals of the Chinese zodiac at Kofukuji Temple, a New Year’s visit spot in Nara Prefecture.
Founded in 669, Kofukuji is the clan temple of the Fujiwara clan, which had immense control during the Nara and Heian periods. There are many important cultural assets and national treasures on the temple grounds, and it is also a World Heritage Site.
The area is surrounded by temples and shrines such as Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Todaiji Temple, and is expected to be very crowded during the New Year. As a way to avoid the crowds, I urge you to use your GPS to draw the animals of the Chinese zodiac!
