GPS art of the place name “Minato” drawn in Minato Ward✨
This is a series of GPS art courses that draw the place name “Minato” in Minato Ward, Tokyo.
In March 1947, the three former wards of Shiba, Azabu, and Akasaka were merged to form Minato Ward. The name of the ward was derived from …… and became “Toko-ku” in hopes for the development of Tokyo Port and the growth of the new ward. However, it was changed to “Minato-ku” because “Tokyo Toko-ku” was difficult to read.
You can wander through the maze of buildings from Shimbashi Station to Toranomon. It may be just right for sightseeing in Tokyo!
