Ikebukuro, Naka-ku, Yokohama is located in the southern part of Naka-ku. It was created in the early Showa period (1926-1989) when a part of Negishi-cho became independent. The name of the place is derived from a character and means “bag-shaped terrain”. You can draw a bag around the southeastern part of Naka-ku.
