Drawing “Saitama Pose” by GPS Art in the city of art and culture✨
November 14 is Saitama Citizens’ Day! This is a course where you can draw “Saitama Pose” with GPS art, which is what you should do if you are a resident of Saitama Prefecture.
Saitama City Chuo Ward (formerly Yono City) first appeared in literature in the early 14th century. During the Edo period, it developed as a town on the side road connecting the Koshu and Oshu Kaido highways. After the Meiji era (1868-1912), the area underwent a major transformation due to the opening of the railroad and the Saikyo Line, which opened in the late Showa era (1926-1989). Since then, the area has been merged into Saitama City, and facilities related to art and culture have been built, establishing the position of “Yono, the center of art and culture.
Walking along the Keihin-Tohoku Line and the Saikyo Line area, you can draw the “Saitama Pose Hand”. Residents of Saitama Prefecture are welcome, of course, but those from outside the prefecture are also welcome to give it a try!
