Into the sky! A famous big kite drawn in the rice paddies in Kasukabe.
In Kasukabe, there is a tradition of flying a giant kite every year in May.
It is said to have originated in the late Edo period (1603-1868), when kites were flown to predict a good harvest for the sericulture industry.
There are a few spots on the course where you can see full-size big kites.
These days, they can’t be flown because of COV19, so please run and draw the area instead!
Actually drawn it!!
Thanks a lot, Akkiy!!!
I’m so pleasure that you could saw some kites in the way😀✨
