Enjoy the giant weeping cherry trees that represent Ibaraki Prefecture🌸
The weeping cherry tree at Hannya-in, designated as a natural monument by Ibaraki Prefecture, is about 500 years old, about 10 meters high, with a trunk circumference of about 5 meters, and boasts an overwhelming scale with branches stretching about 15 meters from east to west and 22 meters from north to south.
The cherry blossoms are lit up every night during the blooming period, making it a good spot for viewing the cherry blossoms at night.
