GPS art of a snail drawing on a “place named after rain”🐌✨
This is a series of GPS art courses that draw snails in “place names with “ame (雨)”.
Amekuguri (雨潜) is a village located between the Daimon River to the north and the Tabi River to the south. It is said that when the Takase God (present-day Takase Shrine) once came to Japan from Korai, rain suddenly started to fall, but the God said, “I will go on even if I dive ( 潜 ) through the rain (雨) ,” hence the name of the village.
Takase Shrine, which is related to the origin of the name, is located on the course. We hope you enjoy this tour while sightseeing 🐌🐌🐌
