GPS art of “YU” to be drawn in one of the most famous hot springs in Japan♨✨
A course of “ゆ (hotspring)” GPS art to draw in Gero, one of the three most famous hot springs in Japan.
With a history of about 1,000 years, Gero has been called one of the “Three Famous Hot Springs” along with Arima Onsen and Kusatsu Onsen since the Muromachi period (1336-1573), and is still known as one of the most famous hot springs in Japan today.
There are three outside bathhouses (bathhouses that do not require an overnight stay): the open-air baths in the Cua Garden, Shirasagi-no-yu, and Yukino-yu. If you purchase a “yumeguri handbill,” you can bathe at any of the three locations from among the handbill member inns. The Fountain Pond is an open-air mixed bath in the middle of the riverbank, but it is suitable for advanced hot spring users. As of January 2023, it is now a footbath only.
It is within a short sightseeing tour. Please give it a try during your visit to the hot spring resort ♨✨
