Tiger in Kohaku-jinja Shrine, Chofu, Tokyo 16km

虎狛神社の虎(東京都調布市)のGPSアート

GPS art of the Chinese zodiac, drawn on a shrine named after a tiger✨

This is a course of GPS art drawn around shrines named after the animal of the Chinese zodiac, the tiger.
There are several shrines in Japan, and there are also some in Tokyo. This is Kohaku-jinja Shrine in Chofu City, which was built in 588 and has a long history. It is said that the name of the shrine originated from the fact that the grandmother of Mankoh Shonin, who founded Jindaiji Temple in the neighborhood after its establishment, was named “Tora (Tiger)”.
The course winds through a residential area. I think the “Chinese zodiac run” culture, in which people draw the animals of the Chinese zodiac by running, has also taken root if you notice. The person who came up with this idea might have great ideas.
