This 3km GPS art course takes you through the area north of Kasukabe Station’s east exit in Saitama Prefecture, drawing the word “HOT” as you walk. Designed for the hot summer season, the short distance allows you to enjoy a creative stroll without overexertion.
Kasukabe Station is a key transportation hub where the Tobu Skytree Line and Urban Park Line intersect. The station has long been a focal point of commerce and transit in the region. Stepping out of the east exit, you’ll find a mix of nostalgic shopping streets and residential neighborhoods, where the charm of the past harmonizes with modern convenience. The city’s name is believed to trace back to the “Kasukabe clan,” who served the imperial court during the Nara period, giving the area a rich historical backdrop.
Kasukabe is also famous as the setting of the popular anime Crayon Shin-chan. Around the city, visitors can spot character statues and motifs, adding a playful atmosphere to the town.
