多賀大社の蛇(滋賀県多賀町)のGPSアート

GPS art of a snake, drawn at a Hatsumode spot in Shiga Prefecture🐍✨

This GPS art course takes visitors to the area around Taga Taisha, a famous Hatsumode (New Year’s visit) spot in Shiga Prefecture, where you can draw a snake, the animal of the Chinese zodiac.
Taga Taisha Shrine, located in Taga Town, Shiga Prefecture, has long been known as “Otaga-san” and was worshipped as “Taga-daimyojin” during the medieval period when Shintoism and Buddhism were practiced together. There is a custom called “Otaga Shakushi,” in which a shamoji is given as a good-luck charm, and this is said to be the origin of the name “Otama Shakushi” or “tadpole.
In 2025, Taga Taisha Shrine may become another popular spot. Please try it during your first visit to the shrine 🐍✨
