A GPS art course where you can draw a snake, the animal of the Chinese zodiac, around Tamamitsuinari Shrine, a Hatsumode (New Year’s visit) spot in Mie Prefecture.
The “Natural Stone of White Snake,” a sacred treasure of Tamamitsu Inari Shrine in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, is shaped like two white snakes with their tails tied together facing each other, and is believed to bring good luck in marriage. The white serpent is also regarded as an incarnation of Benzaiten, the god of treasure, and has been revered since ancient times as a sacred being that brings wealth and good fortune. Because of its mysterious shape and religious beliefs, many worshippers visit the temple to pray for good luck in marriage and fortune.
