GPS art for Halloween to be drawn in the middle area between Omiya and Urawa🎃👻💀
Let’s walk, run, and make Halloween a great time! This is a GPS art course where you can draw Halloween characters at Yono Station, located in the center of Saitama City.
“Yono ha Sukkotto!” is a line from the movie “Fly me to the Saitama,” directed at the representative of Yono, who is involved in a dispute between Urawa and Omiya. As these words indicate, before the merger, the area was located between the former Omiya City and the former Urawa City, and functioned as a buffer zone.
In addition, Yono Station was well known as the central station of Yono City. Recently, with the opening of the Saikyo Line and the appearance of Saitama New Urban Center, its presence has diminished and it has become more memorable as a residential area.
This course depicts a tour around the east exit of Yono Station. The area is mainly a quiet residential area, and you may feel the exquisite position between the prefectural capital and the commercial center. The area in front of the station used to be the site of the former Urawa City. The distance is short, so you should be able to enjoy a short stroll. Please take this opportunity to try GPS art!
