GPS art of a dragon drawn at one of Tokyo’s most popular Hatsumode spot🐉✨
This GPS art course allows visitors to draw the Chinese character for “dragon (龍),” the animal of the Chinese zodiac, around Fukagawa Ryujin, a Hatsumode spot in Tokyo associated with dragons.
The Fukagawa Fudo Hall in Koto Ward enshrines a dragon god called Fukagawa Ryujin. At Fukagawa Ryujin, it is believed that if you float a wish card on the water, your wish will be delivered to the dragon god. Fukagawa Kaiun Shusei Inari” is also enshrined in the precincts of the temple, and is believed to bring good luck and work luck. Since the main hall was destroyed by fire during the Great Kanto Earthquake and World War II, the Jizo Hall of Ryubano-ji Temple, which was located on the banks of the Inba Swamp in Chiba Prefecture, was relocated in 1951.
