GPS art of the place name “Chuo” drawn in Chuo Ward✨
This is a series of GPS art courses that draw the place name “Chuo” in Chuo Ward, Tokyo.
Chuo Ward was created in March 1947 through the merger of Nihonbashi and Kyobashi wards. The ward name was derived from its location in the geographic center of what was then the city of Tokyo (today’s 23 wards) and its position as the economic and cultural center of the city. At the time of the merger, there were several candidates, including “Edo,” “Ginza,” “Oedo,” “Nikkyo,” and “Tokyo” wards.
This course allows you to tour all around the Ginza area on the east side of Tokyo Station. Please enjoy sightseeing in Tokyo with this GPS art instead of a walk in Ginza!
