A circle with a radius of 3.14 km to be drawn around CHI-BA+KUN’s nose✨
Chiba Prefecture’s official character “Chii-ba-kun” was created based on the topography of Chiba Prefecture. It is said that the residents of Chiba Prefecture refer to the prefecture’s location as “around Cheeba-kun’s nose. Using this rule, the center of the course, Kashiwa Station, and the circular course would be “around the nose of Chii-ba-kun.
Surrounded by two rivers, the Tone River and the Teganuma Marsh, the course mainly passes through what was once a large rice paddy area and a new town that was developed during the high growth period of the postwar era. In recent years, there has been remarkable development of residential areas along the Tsukuba Express and Tobu Noda lines, but on the other hand, the area around Kashiwa Station is in decline due to the movement of business areas.
This is a course that enables you to experience the changes in Kashiwa City, as you can visit the old and new towns and the nature of Teganuma.
