Spring’s First One Step Ahead! GPS art of cherry blossoms✨
This course draws cherry blossoms GPS art in Ryujo Park, one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Tochigi Prefecture.
Otawara Castle, built in 1543 by the Otawara clan, a powerful local family, was abandoned in the Meiji era (1868-1912), and was developed into a park. The 300 Someiyoshino cherry trees planted in the park are popular among the locals as a hanami (cherry blossom viewing) spot. The streets of the old castle town remain as they were in those days, and are characterized by their narrowness and intricacy in preparation for enemy attacks. It is interesting to get lost in the streets while thinking back to those days.
It has become a trend to lift restrictions on activities. I think this is the perfect place for sightseeing in Tochigi 🌸
