Every year from late March to early April, a “Cherry Blossom Festival” is held, attracting many people. At night, about 150 paper lanterns are lit, creating a fantastic atmosphere. A retro white lighthouse floating above the rows of cherry trees adds to the atmosphere of the port town. This park, overlooking the Sakai Suido Bridge, is also known as a historical gun emplacement site built by the Tottori Clan, and together with the cherry blossoms, it is an inspiring place for visitors.
