Starting from Hakata Station, Kyushu’s main transportation hub, the route takes you through some of Fukuoka’s most vibrant spots, including Canal City Hakata, KITTE Hakata, and the bustling Yanagibashi Market, where you can sample local delicacies. As you continue, you’ll pass through Nakasu, known for its lively nightlife and famous yatai (food stalls), and visit historic shrines like Kushida Shrine and Sumiyoshi Shrine, which have watched over the people of Hakata for centuries.
The course also includes stops at Hakata Machiya Folk Museum, offering a glimpse into traditional Hakata life, and Sanno Park, a peaceful green space perfect for a short rest. For an extra thrill, the route even skirts near Fukuoka Airport, where you can watch airplanes take off and land up close!
