Founded during Emperor Ingyo’s reign by Lord Utounonagon Yasukata and later rebuilt by legendary general Sakanoue no Tamuramaro, this revered shrine stands as the birthplace of Aomori and its guardian since 1641.
This 13km course blends spiritual tradition with the scenery of northern Japan—passing Aomori Bay Bridge, Aoi Umi Park, and iconic cultural landmarks like ASPAM, Rasseland nebuta workshop, and Wa-Rasse nebuta museum. You’ll also visit historic shrines and temples, feeling the pulse of local faith and festival heritage.
