Tsuriyama Park is a nature-rich park located on a hill overlooking the city of Ichinoseki. In spring, approximately 400 cherry trees are in full bloom, making it one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in the city. The entire mountain is decorated with pale pink flowers, mainly higanzakura and someiyoshino cherry trees. The view of the Ichinoseki cityscape and the Iwai River through the cherry blossoms is also attractive, delighting visitors.
The cherry blossom season usually lasts from early April to late April. The area is close to the station and offers a good view, so please try your hand at GPS art when you visit Ichinoseki🌸
