The course is a 3.14 km radius circle around Takamatsu, a port town on the liaison ship connecting Shikoku and Honshu.
The course circles the Sanuki Plain, an unusually vast plain in Shikoku, with Mineyama at the center.
The course passes through landscapes such as Takamatsu Fishing Port, the Symbol Tower, and Takamatsu Castle.
