This 12km GPS art course invites you to experience a storied landscape, tracing the distinct atmospheres of Saga’s historic center to sketch a Ptarmigan on your digital map.
The journey immerses you in the serene atmosphere of Saga Castle Park, where expansive water-filled moats reflect the sky alongside the majestic wooden architecture of the Saga Castle History Museum and the modern exhibits of the Saga Prefectural Art Museum. Tracing quiet waterways, the mood shifts to spiritual reverence beneath the leafy canopies of Hizennokuni Ise Shrine and Saga Prefecture Gokoku Shrine. Continuing through charming historic quarters, you are greeted by the rustic craftsmanship of the Nabeshima Dantsu Museum and the elegant retro-Western facade of the Former Koga Bank (Saga City Cultural Museum).
