Fuku wa uchi! This is a GPS art course where you can draw demons on places named after demons.
This GPS art is drawn on Onizu (鬼津) in Onga Town, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The origin of the name “Onizu (鬼津)” dates back to the time when Sugawara no Michizane named the area “Kantsu (官津)” when he moved from Kyoto to Dazaifu. Kantsu” meant an official or important port, which was later written as ‘Otsu’ or ‘Mitsu,’ and the word changed over time and eventually came to be called ”Onizu. The name “Otsu” was later written as “Otsu” or “Mitsu”.
